Windows Shortcuts
Here are some windows shortcuts to help you out on Windows:
Classics: Ctrl-A, Home, End, PageUp, PageDown
Ctrl-C: Copy
Ctrl-V: Paste
Ctrl-Z: Undo
Ctrl-Y: Redo
CTRL-H: Find and replace tool
CTRL-P: Print
CTRL-S: Save
CTRL+SHIFT+ESC: Open Task Manager
CTRL-Arrow: Moving to a certain word
CTRL-Shift-Arrow: Select words
CTRL-scroll wheel: Zoom in and out
F2: Rename object/file/folder
Windows+D: Minimizes all open windows and displays the desktop
Windows+L: Locks the workstation
Windows+M: Minimizes all windows
Windows+R: Pulls up Run command box
Win+(num. 1-5): Opens up the app. In that position in your Quick Launch bar in Vista and Windows 7
Win+pause/break: Shows the system information.
Windows+Tab - Switch between taskbar buttons
Win, U, U: Shut down a Windows XP system
ALT+F2: Open context menu (right-click menu)
ALT+F4: Quit program
ALT+D: Select Address Bar
ALT+SPACE: Displays the main window's System menu. (From the System menu, you can restore, move, resize, minimize, maximize, or close the window)
ALT-PrtScrn: Screen shot of active window
ALT-Tab: Change through open Windows
SHIFT- ight click: Traditional options in Vista like Copy as Path, Open as Read Only, Add to Quick Launch and Pin to Start Menu.
SHIFT while pressing no in dialog box changes to 'no to all'
ALT-esc: switches windows
Haha, to tell y0u the truth, I only really use the Ctrl-WHATEVER shortcuts and the occasional Task Manager, F5, and F11 one. But here-- one of you guys out there might find this useful! ((:
