The Day of Ashura
Yep, well, a lot of us at school fasted that day, right? But do you know why? Haha, well, you probably know after that presentation Nawal and I presented on Thursday so here's just a little recap~
1. Allah (swt) accepted the repentance of Adam and Eve after they left Jannah (Paradise).
2. Allah (swt) saved Prophet Nuh and his companion on the ark.
3. Allah (swt) cooled the fire tat Prophet Ibrahim was thrown into by Nimrod.
4. Allah (swt) spoke directly to Prophet Musa and gave him the Commandments.
5. Prophet Ayyub was cured from leprosy.
6. Prophet Yusuf and his father, Prophet Ya'qub were reunited.
7. Prophet Yunus was taken out frohe belly of the big fish.
8. Allah (swt) saved the nation of Israel when he parted the sea that eventually drowned the Pharoah and his army.
9. The Kingdom of Prophet Sulaiman was restored.
10. Prophet Isa was raised to Jannah (Paradise) and not killed.
Inshallah everybody who fasted on that day had their sins erased! :))
